Are you sleeping?

“…The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the heat. It was more than heat, it was a burning. After the death of night I thirst to live again. Are you sleeping? The smell of your hair leaves me no choice. The dull ache of longing is replaced by the burning of desire.
I slowly move closer. So close that I can feel the goose bumps as they rise in the small of your back.
A stir. A murmur. A surprised and sleepy smile. I know now that nothing else really ever mattered.
It’s a glorious day…”
