Kapital SocialismThis is a good contender for the title "My most provocative print". Created to antagonize and shock, the Swastika created by cranes is the ultimate expression of the disgust and rage I feel towards the shameless destruction of the Old and Holy by the New and Greedy in the pursuit of Gods of Cash. I find it ironic that my pathetic Swastika, never displayed outside cloistered galleries, causes far more ire than the wanton destruction of Jerusalem's skyline, taking place in plain view all over the city. The architectural monstrosities constructed now will be here generations after my print is long forgotten, yet no one utters a sound against them. Jerusalem's real estate market boom is preventing any but the wealthiest of holiday-homers to purchase homes here and spells doom for the city's future. But is the voice of protest heard? Not really. Silence serves the interests of "Kapital" much better than protest... I don't feel this way often but sometimes, when the stench of corruption and greed become too hard to bear, I lose my ability to restrain myself. Another example of this type of extremity are the lyrics for the song "Open Season" - a collaboration with musician Oded Zukerman : OPEN SEASON Grandpa Box and Grandma Bag This image is not for sale. I cannot reconcile my Jewish conscience with the idea of making money by offering a Nazi symbol for purchase. The print can be loaned for exhibition purposes. If you are interested contact me.
