I once spent a summer vacation in the Marmaris region of Turkey. It was a great experience. Marmaris a is paradise on earth - tall, pine quilted mountains, dotted with quaint little villages, drop into the cyan blue waters of the Mediterranean sea. The people are friendly and the food is excellent.

I took with me on this vacation, as reading material, two excellent books about the pioneers of the modern movement - Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee. This print is the result of their influence in more ways than one.
